Hidden Gems - Places Around and Within

I can’t quite believe it myself, but Hidden Gems is now officially published! Available in paperback, hardcover and eBook. Three formats. One book. And a very happy me. When the first copies arrived, I sat there for a moment just holding them, feeling that quiet mix of joy, disbelief and “oh wow, I actually did it.”

These poems carry six years of my life in the North-East of Scotland, its wild coastline, the hidden waterfalls, the cold seas and bright skies, and all the inner places I discovered along the way. Turning them into a book feels like a small miracle I’m still taking in.

What has truly moved me, though, is the early feedback. The messages from people who found comfort in a line, recognised a feeling, or suddenly saw their own inner landscape a little clearer… I wasn’t prepared for how deeply that would touch me. I wrote these poems to make sense of my world, and now they’re somehow becoming part of other people’s worlds too.

A travelogue titled “Minu Naissaar. Metsikult ilus” has been published.

My latest book, “My Naissaar. Wildly Beautiful,” was published on May 14, 2024.

Although the book, published by Petrone Print, includes historical facts, it is not a history book but rather a travelogue-memoir spanning over 25 years of my experiences as a tour guide on Naissaar. Part of the “My” series by Petrone Print, this book intertwines the development story of Naissaar with my personal journey from an insecure teenage girl to a confident woman.

The book is available in all major bookstores in Estonia, including Rahva Raamat and Apollo, and is also accessible as an e-book.

The first book of the series #õnnelikteekond #becominghappy was published on 28 May 2020, while the whole world was living in the COVID-19 lockdown. Almost everything had been put on hold, but 700 first edition copies, printed and published in Estonia, were delivered to me in Scotland, where I now live and where much of the writing was done.

It was in November 2020, when we re-sized and re-designed the book, and the second edition was accepted by Amazon. Here’s a link, to purchase it. If you have it already, please leave a review. That will help other people to decide, too.

The book is bilingual, and written in two languages, Estonian and English.

To discuss translations into other languages, please get in contact! I’d love that. I’d like to keep two languages in the book, side by side, one small and the other bigger, supporting each other.

The Alphabet of Life was my Christmas present for myself. Published on the 22^nd of December 2022, it has been praised by mindset coaches, appreciated by creatives, and brought joy for people, who are looking for daily inspiration. Here’s a link, to purchase it.

It includes the invitation to create a list of your own meaningful words, and 2-minute writing prompts to unload your mind or unleash your creativity.

The workshop – Explore Your Life Through Words – was inspired by that book, and I’ve run it successfully in English and Estonian. It was also in the program at an international conference, Creative Bridges, and the best feedback came from the psychotherapists who participated: I have finally found the tools for my clients to help them change perspectives on what has happened in their lives.
